What I like about tutoring is that you learn new things, like how to spell stuff that you do not know how to spell.  Or, you learn how to spell stuff with play dough.  And you also learn what you don't know.  And it helps you be smarter.  J

I got good things out of tutoring.  She helped me a lot on my times tables.  Now I can answer multiplication problems a lot faster and correctly on my homework.  She also helped me understand words that I don't know.  She taught me what to do if I see a word I don't understand.  This helps me very much in school.  SDC 8th

I have tried to help my son for the last 6-7 months without success, but this tutoring program has helped him.   His attitude is more confident.  He never knew how to read the instructions of his homework and now he reads them and can do his homework. OA

As a parent, to know that your child is one-on-one with someone that really cares about that child's success is wonderful.  It built more confidence in her.  She understands more than before.  She will remember this experience as a very positive one. I believe it will help her in the future, knowing that there are programs and people who care and can help. JH
