If you were teaching someone to drive and they couldn't do it, you wouldn't say "drive harder!" So why tell a struggling student to "study harder"? At Able to Learn, our Tutors utilize a better technique. Come find out how we do it.

I would tell my friends that in tutoring you are learning and having fun at the same time. The tutor takes the time to really teach you. She is nice and patient and careful with you. Math was fun and even reading. CT
I wouldn't be graduating high school if it were not for you tutoring me in math back in 8th and 9th grades. Thank you. RC
Thanks SO much for all of your help with our daughter. The lessons on "essay writing" helped her be the only kid in her class to get recognized for her writing on a Science report. You have no idea how much that meant to her. She was bursting to tell me after school, and beamed with pride. You rock! KB
By reading and practicing I can read faster. By learning the meanings I can remember and stop when I have a blank. My tutor made it fun to learn more about language arts. LS
I felt like you were helping me a whole lot with my reading and my words. You helped me for a long time. So thank you so much for helping me with my words and reading. You are a great tutor to me. J

What I like about tutoring is that you learn new things, like how to spell stuff that you do not know how to spell. Or, you learn how to spell stuff with play dough. And you also learn what you don't know. And it helps you be smarter. J
Tutoring was really fun. I learned new words. My tutor is really nice and made it fun. A
I think the tutoring has helped me a lot. It helped me especially at school. My favorite part about the tutoring was my tutor. The reading helped me the most. At school I'm getting better and better by taking my tutor's advice. I think tutoring helped me a lot. LD
I got a B on my Math test for the first time (not a D). I even did better than my boyfriend! I don't have to memorize formulas any more. You explain and show me examples. I like it. ZW 10th
I got good things out of tutoring. She helped me a lot on my times tables. Now I can answer multiplication problems a lot faster and correctly on my homework. She also helped me understand words that I don't know. She taught me what to do if I see a word I don't understand. This helps me very much in school. SDC 8th
At first I was really bad at spelling, but my tutor has changed that. Now I know how to spell so much better. I have better grades in English. I have a B-. GS 7th
I have tried to help my son for the last 6-7 months without success, but this tutoring program has helped him. His attitude is more confident. He never knew how to read the instructions of his homework and now he reads them and can do his homework. OA
As a parent, to know that your child is one-on-one with someone that really cares about that child's success is wonderful. It built more confidence in her. She understands more than before. She will remember this experience as a very positive one. I believe it will help her in the future, knowing that there are programs and people who care and can help. JH
